Problem
In pharmacies, syrups and oral solutions are prepared by eye and with a scale. Dosing errors, waste and lost time come together. In addition, a box plus packaging cost is paid for every bottle.
Solution
The bottle is weighed, the target volume is calculated, the dosing unit dispenses the correct amount, the cap is closed and the barcode is printed. This way packaging cost disappears and every bottle ends up with exactly the same dose.
Status
The hardware prototype is complete; the prescription and stock software integration is ongoing.
