Approach
Having a mould made for a machine part is expensive and slow. First produce the prototype with 3D printing and test it, break the part, then correct and remake it. This loop speeds up design and lowers cost.
Materials
- PLA / PETG — body, bracket, cover parts
- TPU 95A / 98A — flexible seals, hoses, grip parts
- SLA — precision gear and channel parts
Result
For most machine parts, production started without paying mould costs. Every change made on the design was verified again and again by printing.
